Now quite the French market bag

Well it is finished and I tried to felt it but it didn't work out as planned. I think the wool needed to be alot thicker or even double strand. It should be fine for a knitting bag or light project bag. Hopefully she likes it.

Birthday's for good friends

It is a good friends birthday on Thurs so i decided last night to start a bag, nothing like rushing.

She is very much into organic , natural, gardening etc so thought a handmade basket/bag might be a good idea.

Using this pattern it should be easy

This is my choice using left over yarn from other projects

Here are the little projects

The little blue ones are for a NC mummas little boy so cute and so fast.

The bright ones are for a friends baby but she is already a month old so totally behind on the pressie giving. Hope to finish it today or tomorrow and deliver,

Wool delivery and some little projects.

On Wed I got my Cascade 220 Jet yarn from Ewe-Phoria Yarns what a cool name. It is a little darker than the picture but I am saving it for Tilted duster anyway and I wanted a more neutral colour to go with more thing.

CPH finished- well almost

Started : 12th September
Finsihed: 3rd October (3 weeks)
Bendigo Rustic green tweed 12ply.

All completed except for buttons or toggles. I will have to go into spotlight when I go to Adelaide on the weekend.

I need to wash it and block and hopefully it comes out longer as Shaun says it is too short. I won't need to wear it till next winter so maybe a few kilos might be lost between now and then.

I have enjoyed knitting this one as it has challenge me a little.
